Storyline
Giri (Raj Tarun) is an orphan who dedicates his life to reuniting missing people with their families. While his mission is noble, his personal life struggles as he finds it difficult to get married. Enter Shailaja (Malvi Malhotra), an orphan who agrees to marry Giri. However, the story takes a sudden twist when a local goon, Konda Reddy (Makrand Deshpande), asks Giri to find a girl, only for Giri to discover that the girl in question is his wife, Shailaja. The rest of the film follows Giri as he unravels Shailaja’s past and battles to resolve the situation with Konda Reddy.
Performances
Raj Tarun, who gave a decent performance in “Purushottamudu,” struggles in “Tiragabadara Saami.” While his character has some emotional depth, the poorly written script limits his ability to shine. Malvi Malhotra as Shailaja has little to offer beyond the first half of the movie, and her character arc is confusing and lacks consistency.
Makrand Deshpande as Konda Reddy is introduced with a lot of flair, but his character quickly devolves into a stereotypical, over-the-top villain who adds little to the story. Mannara Chopra’s role is poorly written and doesn’t contribute meaningfully to the film. The supporting cast, including Raja Ravindra and Pragathi, offer uninspired performances that add little value. Tiragabadara Saami Review.
Direction and Screenplay
A.S. Ravikumar Chowdary, who once made a name for himself with gripping narratives, seems to have lost his edge. “Tiragabadara Saami” is riddled with outdated tropes, exaggerated drama, and a lack of coherent storytelling. The pacing feels off throughout, with the plot going off the rails after the initial setup. The narrative is packed with clichés, from the orphan hero’s struggle to the melodramatic villain.
The screenplay is poorly constructed, with key sequences dragging on and lacking tension or emotional depth. The storyline’s attempt to blend action and drama falls flat, and the comedic moments feel forced and out of place. Overall, the film fails to engage the audience or evoke the emotional responses it clearly aims for.

Technical Aspects
The technical aspects of “Tiragabadara Saami” are equally underwhelming. The music, composed by J.B and Bole Shawali, is forgettable and does nothing to elevate the film’s mood. The songs are uninspiring, and the background score fails to add intensity to the key scenes. Cinematographer Jawahar Reddy’s visuals lack creativity, leaving the film with a drab and uninspired look. Tiragabadara Saami Review.
The editing is inconsistent, with some scenes dragging far too long, making the two-hour film feel much longer. Production values are decent, but they aren’t enough to cover up the film’s many flaws.
Positives:
- Raj Tarun’s sincere attempt to salvage his character.
- A couple of dramatic moments have potential but are overshadowed by poor execution.
Negatives:
- Outdated storytelling and direction.
- Poorly written characters with little emotional depth.
- Forgettable music and lackluster cinematography.
- Forced comedy that disrupts the flow of the film.
- Incoherent screenplay and illogical plot points.
Verdict
Tiragabadara Saami is a cinematic misfire that wastes both its cast and its audience’s time. What could have been a simple yet engaging story is ruined by outdated direction, exaggerated drama, and a lack of emotional connection. Raj Tarun’s efforts to promote the movie raised expectations, but the film ultimately fails to deliver on any front. A.S. Ravikumar Chowdary, once known for compelling narratives, struggles to keep the audience engaged in this predictable and uninspired story.
